I have
been creating images since I could hold a crayon, and at nine I received my
first camera. It merged my budding
interests in science, technology, history, and art into one glorious
instrument, and I have been hooked ever since. I went on to study photography and
eventually earned a degree in Visual Communications. My
creative vision has grown as I have grown, and it changes and matures with me
over time. My goal is to capture the
intimate way light washes and embraces, exposing shapes and textures that may
go unnoticed by casual observers. I
prefer natural light and shoot scenes “as found” whenever possible. Photoshop is used sparingly, more like a
digital darkroom rather than a medium. I’m sure
it is not my words that you are interested in, so I will let my images do the
talking. I don’t expect that you’ll
like all of them, but hopefully one will speak directly to you…
